Getting there:

Cortina d'Ampezzo is located 161 Km from Venice Airport which is the closest International airport. Driving time from Venice is about 2 1/2 hours. The closest rail station is Calalzo with regular arrivals after a journey of about 2 hours and 40 minutes - Calalzo is 35 Km by taxi or connecting bus (30 minutes to Cortina). There are two direct buses every Saturday from Venice airport to Cortina hotels. Call ahead to reserve a seat from this two hour and 30 minute ride.
